 Purpose of Science Symposium

  • To review (and update) existing ecosystem information for the Saanich Inlet ecosystem (marine and nearshore environments)
  • To adapt a set of indicators to measure the ecological health of the Saanich Inlet ecosystem
  • To determine next steps for monitoring the ecological health of the Saanich Inlet ecosystem, and effective ways to protect and restore this health

 The health of the Saanich Inlet: What do we know?

Presentations on ecosystem health of the Saanich Inlet: water quality, habitat and species, and the impacts from surrounding watersheds.
